Simple, let's say corruption does it's damage over 5 sec, with 20% haste 4sec.
It really does help to have your topic give SOME hint as to what you are posting about, otherwise most people don't bother.
Stuff like "HELP ME" and "IDK" doesn't really do taht.
Hide behind a little Bloodelf Paladin?!? Ridiculous! Make way for the Beef of Light! I will shield you, little ones, and should I fall, remember that I taste amazing with Mustard.
Seems to fly on the dk forum. ;D
Your comments are duly noted and ignored.
I punch a hobo every time someone says 'it's not a rotation it's a priority list lol'.
Does anyone know if this has any impact on the duration of corruption? (might be troublesome if it runs out before haunt hits).
Haste works like :Originally Posted by lolbol
casttime = x/(1+haste)
not: casttime = x*(1-haste)
So you need 25% haste for 4 seconds.
I am just guesitmating here but you would need like 80-90% haste for corruption to fall off before haunt is ready.

Its the exact same for all spells
New Cast Time = Old Cast Time / (1 + Haste %) x (1+Haste Buffs, Multiplicative)
The only difference is that you replace Cast Time with Duration and divide by the number of ticks
FOR EXAMPLE:
3% Haste from Ret Paladin
30% from Eradication (was up while you refreshed with Haunt)
30% from Hero/BL
15% base Haste
18s / (1+.15) x (1.30) x (1.30) x (1.03) = 18 / 2.001805 = 9s Duration
9s Duration / 6 Ticks Per Cast = 1 Tick every 1.5 seconds.
As to falling off...
Reaching 7s or less, whereby Haunt cooldown + Travel + Lag time is not fast enough to refresh it, requires
7 = 18 / X
18 / 7 = X
X = 2.57 (minus 1 to convert to actual haste %)
157% Haste, which is only possible in gimmick fights such as Vezax or Hodir.
