Hi!

I want to make a thread where everyone can tell about their best pvp hunter tip!
Either its for duelling, world pvp, bgs or arenas Put them here and help other hunters to become better hunters!

The only one I can think of now is when Im duelling rogues, I allways start out with basics Flare+trap which everybody does, but I also put pet on aggresive and Track hidden. That way the pet will attack the rogue the first millisecond he appears, good way for those slacky and slow hunters like me! Hehe

Don't be afraid to use Freezing Arrow (especially in 2v2) - it can be handy if it's trinketed and you follow up with a Wyvrnn sting (in 3v3+ you'll prob be using frost traps).

Don't Trinket SAP.

When against a DK don't use dissengage until they've deathgripped first.

Don't be afraid to use Tranq shot - quite hand when all other shots are on CD, you might remove something usefull!

Deterrence doesn't work against other hunters (until next patch).

FD when an enemy is casting - the closer to the end of the cast the better.

Use Snake Trap when kiting!

Watch out for: Rogues, Mages, Locks (they are the ones that scare me the most anyway).

Any tips vs a retadin? Those stuns and that annoying bubble make me want to punch the screen, not to mention the heals.

Tranq shot is your friend. If you're tranqing on every CD (6sec?), by the time he freedoms, he'll only have freedom and his seal, which means bye bye freedom, and a little of his burst is gone. Which ALSO means more kiting due to no freedom.

don't backpedal.... like never...

level your first aid (helps a lot)
