my suggestion: wait for cataclysm, or, just don't come back at all

level a death knight it takes skills to play one btw i write without caps capital letters comma dots and stuff because that makes me look so pro

Warlock. Both Affliction and Destruction are insane if played well.

80 paladin tank/ret - Retri is very easy to play decent.
80 druid bear/cat - pretty hard to master but are very fun to play, wouldn't suggest you to play it because Cataclysm could come out before you've become good at PvP.
80 lock fire spec - Pretty easy to play but requires good gear to not get blown to pieces in a few globals.
80 shaman ele/resto - Same as warlock.

Play the class you like the most.

I'm doing Aion too.. i love the looks, the lore etc (finally a game with REAL HATE against opposing faction, not the pussies we have become in WoW)..

however, i kinda miss the competition in PVP .. so im kinda peeking @ MMO to see whats happening to WoW.. sad to hear we still dont have rated BG's and such..

So how is PVP nowadays, after the chance in resillience etc?

I am thinking about returning to WoW after about 6-7 months away as well.
Im thinking Ill be picking up with my shaman or priest which are both sitting at 70.
