is there a listing of beginner 80 moonkin gear

I tried using my healer gear as a core for this but that was a failure.
Is there a list somewhere that shows beginner gear, gems and enchants for someone starting out and trying to meet the hit cap?

Oh, or Maxdps.com, filter where you want to get the gear from, and look for what has the hit you want.

I'd use cloth too if I were you.

well I went thru my bank to see what I had in +hit gear.
Hat of wintry doom +44 hit
mantle of Gnarled overgrowth +44
Barkhide Treads +34 hit
Kurisu's indecision +44 hit
and a buddy gave me ebonweave gloves +51 hit
that is 217 hit on gear.
I was amazed at my bank I have 3 other helms, 2 shoulder, 4 gloves and 2 boots better but none have any hit. (packrat I guess)

217 should I gem for the rest?

Yes, until you are hit capped, its the best increase you can get. Ofcourse, you'll be struggling a bit in heroics with this gear already, but its a start :P Once you get hit capped, work on getting 401 haste (doable in Nax gear, probably), and then you start working on crit. Once you get more gear with hit on, gem for SP.

well ready to start I picked this up last night Telestra's Journal
and got enough badges to get Conqueror's Nightsong Cover
Not sure if I should put all my badges in this set, is it a good idea?

If so this will put me over I believe it will make me 272 with the helm, I also can get the chest if that is a good idea?


Can you tell me what a comfortable regen rate is?
I noticed there are 2 builds one is for mana problems, I was curious at what stage this is no longer a problem?

Right now I only have toc weapons, I believe I have them all and using the kris. The mace seems to have mp5 but overall
while healing it was not the best.

I tried tanking and put a ton of gold and badges into it. but we are covered up with tanks
So I guess I can sit at the back and bitch just like a mage
