Maybe because more than half the paladins play holy. Ret is fine, it's still powerful as all hell and as faceroll as ever.
It's just that not all paladins are ret, whereas all rogues/mages/hunters/locks are dps.

Realmhistory can be off because there can be more of one class than another, thus lending to a greater likelihood of there being more players interested in hgih level arenas within a certain class.

The best way to determine which class is best in arena is by looking at both Realmhistory AND the "How faceroll is your class" thread I made, and looking for trends.

One trend that both the thread and Realmhistory shows is DKs being way underpowered and Warriors being about middle of the road.

Rogue is interesting because the thread shows them as very OP, yet realmhistory has low rep for them.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for giving rets an actual system of combat that isn't button mashing & that would have some real choice in wtf they do offensively the problem is blizz hasn't made one yet.
If you wana blame someone blame blizz because even as a rouge you should be able to beat the majority of the fotm rerollers out there who just mash buttons.

Massive Group Utility (rets have this, DKs dont) or large amounts of healer control (DKs have this, rets dont.)

The problem is that either one of these is not enough to make a class good in PvP. It must be supplemented with high burst, a mortal strike effect, spammable crowd control, great mobility, or something else.
