I personally would NOT want it to happen. They have a much better use as a burst pet instead of being a portion of our normal dps and then having our actual dps reduced to bring things back in line.

Enless Enhance DPS becomes as broken as Frost was I would say no. But you never know.

I`m sorry but I find your post quite irrelevant. Frost is generally a PvP spec. The fact that it`s DPS was broken in PVE isn`t really surprising. PvP specs shouldn`t be amazing at DPS.

could you imagine the problems with pve content? Those stupid wolves attacking whatever has wiped us more than a couple times pulling agro and spreading out adds the need to be on ice.

All the pet classs that are currently in game have been designed to have a pet, so their personal DPS suffers if they choose to buff their pet. The enhance tree is all about buffing the player with a cool feral spirit spell to use every so often to increase DPS. If you want to have them out permanently, then the dps of the wolves would have to be lowered way down.

I'm not so sure giving ice mages a glyph to make their pet permanent is such a wise idea, but blizz is blizz and whatever they say goes.

BTW, good luck melee against ice mages with pet glyph.

You do know the Water Elemental when glyphed loses Freeze? It pretty much makes it useless in pvp.

Frost is broke for pve atm. This is the Blizz way to try and bring it in line with the other specs. When you spec is broken you can QQ all you want about getting your perma pet. Until that day comes, feel free to feel content because you can play your class/spec and not be gimped.

And if having a perma pet is that big of a deal to you, roll a class that has one.
