Hey Everyone,

Not sure if this thread belongs here or not... But, I have been writing a story, it's about 60 pages or so now in word and it's about my Mage, Gwenavier and it also includes my Druid, Ardaion.

I just wanted to share it with other WoW fans and get some feedback/comments. I will accept all feedback, though, please keep the vulgar language to yourselves.

It's ok, Aerallon. There will always be uneducated, illiterate people who feel that it is necessary to ridicule those that are smarter than them. Because they feel inferior to those that enjoy a good piece of writ, it's an inherent defensive reaction to sow simple-minded sarcasm and cover their insecurities by lashing out at literary lexicology.

If I had the leisure of adequate time I would gladly proofread what you have written. An eye for literary detail is possibly as much a talent that one is born with as the innate ability to expound meaning from clusters of text.

Edi: So far, I have read the first five pages or so, and am enjoying it immensely. You have a very friendly style of writing, and although I disagree with some of the grammar, it is very well written. You tell a story, and that is what matters the most. I look forward to getting through this tale in a land I know so well! (Besides, it doesn't hurt that I play a mage as my main!).

Droes: I would have to say I started it 2 years ago, got busy with work and stuff, then was finally able to pick it back up 5 months ago and have been working on it nearly every day since.

I still hold to my initial thought after having read through more than half of the story: it is very well written and is a great story so far. However, I can't help but say a little more. Not that positives should always have negatives to balance them (and please don't take criticism negatively as it is meant to assist with improvement).

If you are open to grammatical and structural criticism, you may like to consider these possible areas of improvement: frequently mixed tenses (a big issue, actually); occasional prepositional errors; occasional confusing of subject and object pronouns; occasional typos and word misspellings (very minor and easily overlooked by any writer); incorrect use of punctuation (another big one but mostly only an issue for the more pedantic).

Gonna finish it sometime!
