2200 Gear Score doing 3300 Raid DPS - Good, Bad, or Average?

Raid DPS? As in 25-man? Nay sir, this is BAD. While you should just be checking the stickies, I'll ask anyways; what's your rotation look like?

Also, get yo' self a Nobles card. They're a lot cheaper nowadays.

EDIT: Spec if fine, also. Looks like the generic SV spec, which works fine for most anything.

10 man. If I'm doing 25 man, probably similar b/c I lag terribly in 25 man raid and just am not getting the best out of my rotation.

ES > BA > Serpent Sting > AS > Refresh whatever is on cooldown with priority on Explosive Shot. Steady Shot when everything else is on cooldown.

I should have also mentioned that I'd be looking for advice given my current spec, gear, and rotation. To just say bad, really doesn't help me.

Speaking of which, would there be any reason to consider going to MM with my current gear with or without regemming for ArP?

Rotation sounds solid. Pay attention to LnL procs, do NOT shoot them off immediately - wait approximately .5 secs after the GBC so that it tics on your target twice instead of once. And try to stay slightly ahead of your GBC spin, since it sounds like you get some bad lag. You'll actually be casting your shots ahead of your ping and ahead of your client-side GBC graphic, which isn't the accurate one. Make sure not to refresh SS more than you need to, of course. You should at least be hitting 4k dps, and if you learn to cast ahead of lag, even higher. I can still easily manage 5.5k dps even when lag gets down to 1-2 FPS, just by keeping the proper timing in my head, instead of staring at the CD.

As for changes to gear, yes, replacing those shoulders will help a good bit. REALLY look into replacing your weapons asap. Start pugging raids in the hope a boss will drop a decent 2H for you if you have to. Hunters shouldn't wield daggers, though I can understand why you are doing it here, since you probably just haven't had the opportunity for other drops.

And no, stay SV for your current gear.

The OFFSET badge shoulders are pretty much best in game until heroic 25 tier 9. You should NOT be getting the T9 10 man or 25 man shoulders.

3300, if you do have lag issues, and considering your awful ranged weapon is still pretty bad. I do not see why you cannot hit the 4k mark minimum.

My advice for lag issues:

Shot Priority wise, open with HMark -> Kill Shot -> Serpent -> BlackArrow-> Explosive -> Aimed -> Steady
Only putting serpent back up during the 'steady' portion after the initial one, if its off the target or very close to it. Rinse, repeat.

Also do the daily heroic everyday, get a the 35 badge ring, and also run some heroics, change Conquest to Valor and buy the Valor Badge ring. It should help you out a great deal. Oh and pickup the T8.5 helm from conqs, that will help your dps out a bit.

We are similiarly geared and I am pulling a little over 4500 dps(overall) in 10 mans at the end of the raid. The spec looks good, but your shot priorities is probally what is gimping your dps. Im slinging MM with pure agility gemming ( have low ArPen atm.) And have no problems, other than never seeing the upgrades I want dropping. Definitely use the stickies here on the hunter forums, they changed my play style a little and greatly improved my damage output.

Yeah 11.69% hit is ridiculously high. 8% is capped for horde, 7% for alliance (drae aura).

4 piece w/o chest (use crafted or 25m 245,258) is badass. Huge dps boost. Survival doesn't need the wasted arp thats wasted on the badge shoulders

on topic: if you have rly bad lag problems, i rly suggest getting quartz it helps a lot with the cast bars and GCD track

1.) You should be building up ArP to go MM.
2.) SV needs ArP more than it needs haste, and he is already 4% over the hit cap.
3.) Badge Shoulders + 4 pieces >> Crafted chest + 4 pieces.

No offense, but you sound like an elitist d-bag. We are assuming, by the OP's gear, that he is not doing regular raiding. I think this is a fairly reasonable assumption. Therefor, telling the OP to 'stop sucking hardcore and failing like the noob scrub he is and go and get the 4-piece T9' is not really going to help anything.

Back on topic. I would encourage you to try and aim for the T9-2piece, it is EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL. It is also pretty easy to obtain without touching raids, seeing as I think it's safe to assume you are not going for ZOMG BiS ANUB-HARDMODE HERE I COME like Mr. Look-at-my-giant-wang-Starcaller back there.
