Is off-hand items history for druids?

seems like there is no itemization for offhands anymore unless i'm missing something that has a low drop rate.. is it pretty much 2h staves for all Toc content these days?

Uh? If you're feral, there's been only one in all WoW.

If it's about balance/resto, it looks like http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47138, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47053, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47742 are pretty good offhands. And their heroic versions, of course. Plus the Grimoire from Onyxia.

Actually there are at least 2 !
    http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45854 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43667
Otherwise if u just got to 80 and somehow got boosted in ToC or maybe the soon to come ICC, some top daggers/fists will be better than the heroic 5man/naxx 2handers. That ofc is very unlikely to happen however.

Ahhh, Inscription, you're right. I was still thinking about the items as they were in Vanilla and TBC. Back then, there's was only a offhand from Stratholme's scarlet side.

Staffs and Polearms are pretty much the Feral druid's weapon of choice.

but you loose extremely much FeralAP and with that, threat. because the togc-beast-25-dagger would be the fist one beating the naxx25 staffs in terms of threat. if at all.

at the end, it's not worth it and so: yes, offhands are pretty much history for (feral)druids.

Slap me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure hes refering to Resto OH or Balance OH.

Like ^^ Said, there are a few around, but i'd say they lean towards Balance imo. (i.e no spirit on it or it has +Hit rating) Theres a couple that drop from Ony. But i can sympathise with you, its like they've disappeared, and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47138 is an item that every other priest, mage, warlock, balance druid will roll on because of the 'crit'

I'm still rocking the badge OH from donkey's ago (Embarressed) because of unlucky drops / rolls.

For resto (as it seems for priests, also), staff seems to be replacing MH/OH setups now that the staff enchant is out and makes the spellpower totals very similar, while giving a larger boost to baseline stats.

    For balance, I'm not sure.
    Fenixdown (retail) : level 60 priest. 2005-2015, 2022-???? (returned!)
    Fenixdown (classic) : level 70 priest. 2019 - present

Ehh, not exactly 'similar' IMO. Staff enchant gives you 18 more SP than the 1H enchant, however a 245 offhand gives you 89 SP. Basically you have to give up 71 SP if you want to use a staff. The only exception in regards to this is sockets, which staves often have more of.

Personally I plan to stick with 1H+OH unless I get a seriously good staff with a lot of sockets.

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45271 still remains one of the best itemized OH for a druid. 25Uld pug isn't too hard to get done every once and again, Kologarn is only a few in anyways. If not, then get the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47138

I prefer the bonus SP/Stat (Haste/Crit) over the bonus attributes (Int and most of the time extra stam, bleh).

Cool, thats exactly what i was searching for! i really like the 1h daggers that drop and stat wise they're nice but i still sport an off hand from naxx in resto and the freaking badge offhand for moonkin

loaded up atlasloot so i'll use that to make a gear plan

For the moment the Chalice is perfectly optimized for Resto druids. There's little point in going over the haste cap, which is pretty easy to reach from T9 + haste on belt & weap (most of them have it anyway). So after that you may as well maximise crit to boost 4T9 bonus.
