Those who heard the datamined sound files and Uther's dialog will understand the necessity.

IMO, the first three—Bolvar, Tirion and Mograine, in that order—are the most likely candidates. The others are there for variety. Saurfang Jr. is confirmed dead (permanently this time?), so not listed.

Muradin has already had an encounter with Frostmourne. Highly doubful of Saurfang.

Jaina / Sylvanas...The Lich Queen?

Thrall, since it seems almost confirmed that he's leaving the Horde. Some have claimed that Med'an will be the new Guardian, so that would leave Thrall out of a job. Controlling the Scourge might become a nice hobby for him.

Oh, and I this one has been trumpeted by some in the forums, and now confirmed by Uther: Arthas is still alive in there somewhere. Might that remnant of him (aliased Matthias Lehner?) continue to keep the Scourge in check?

I think this refers to the fact that Frostmourne is sucking up souls to strengthen itself. So it is trying to acquire Uthers soul.

Honestly, Im wondering if Uther will be gone for good if Frostmourne actually gets him....

J/K most things point to both being destroyed in the battle with arthas's body as the lich king, I would say Bolvar is my guess. All things point to saurfang Sr. carrying his sons body out to be buried in Nagrand so neither of them work. Muradin if I remember correctly has already been spotted by the Wolvar area in cata. Fordring has to much of a presence around northrend right now for him to work. The faction heads can't work for obvious reasons. Jaina if I remember correctly is already verified to be still riding thrall's jock with the council of tris. so really the only two that make sence are mograine and bolvar, but we can't know until it's live.

Im addicted to voting on polls. These people that make unneeded extra polls are the ones I love.
