I have a PCI Express video card running on a PCI-E x16 mother board. Would I see a moderate increase in performance if I got a motherboard with PCI-E 2.0 slots?

if your gfx card isn't a PCI-E 2.0 card, you won't see any improvements.

Sorry, I meant to say I DO have a PCIe 2.0 card.

If you plan to run multiple gpus (and they're being top of the line) then go for 2.0 cause of the more bandwidth needed.

Otherwise, especially for playing games like WoW, sticking with 1.1 on a single mid-range gpu will do just fine, and on mid-range the difference with 2.0 won't be worth paying for, cause the card probably won't be using that much bandwidth anyway.
