This is my solution to all those people who say no achieve=no skill. Check this website out. It tells you how many times a person has done each raid, which bosses they have downed and how many times they have done it. It makes trying to pug for TOGC 10 a little easier. Someone doesn't have the TOGC achieve but they haven't downed yogg multiple times then they can come. You may think thats unfair what if they dont have a guild that can down yogg. Well if they dont have the gear to do yogg then something is wrong. every guild at this point has pretty much downed 25 toc. And through these multiple kill they should def have the gear to kill yogg. IF they cant then its a matter of coordination and if they dont have the coordination for yogg what makes you think they have for TOGC.

This is just a little something to help those raid leaders stop being oh you dont have achieve you cant come and be like ah you've done this boss so many times and you cold have attempted it so lets give you a shot.

Because the 5 80s in my sig mean I TOTALLY Don't have more than 1, right?

I was told last week my shaman wasn't geared enough to do heroic oculus. Yes, heroic oculus. They said I wasnt skilled enough because I had never run it before.

a heroic and TOGC are on 2 diff lvls. And if you have so may alts that have done TOGC or ulduar then give me one of them thats all i need.

Tell me this, would you rather i say oh you dont have the achievement even though your gear is good or would you rather me be like ok your gear is good and even though you dont have the achievement i can see that you have completed raids before which require more brain cells so you can come?

Not every guild is a hard-core raiding guild. Not every guild is a 25-man raiding guild. Just because your guild has done something does not mean every guild has.

The only point i see is your numbers about what percentage of guilds that have downed ToC. and i kno casual guilds that have downed on very bad progression servers.

to your second point. I never said everyone was like him i just said if you wont let me check your characters for any sort of competence why should i let you in the raid. i also forgot to mention that the guy who i ignored didnt have the reg toc achievement and was trying to get into heroic.

People like that fall in the "too stupid to understand" basket, and can go ask other people to link achievements or request gearscores.

1) Well people use addons to fake achievements.
2) People link achievement from someone elses char and claim it's "their main"

IMO blizzard needs to add ACCOUNT WIDE ACHIEVEMENTS / stats. Sure it's hard for me to get into a random raid because I don't have the achievement on my alt because I just hit 80 that day. Even though my main has done it 50 times, I can't prove I know it since they'll slap ignore on you if you talk to them without linking achievement (not giving you chance to tell them how the fight goes to prove you know it)

Example: Kill emalon, kill add when he overcharges it, run out of lightning nova. Guess what the raid leader wouldn't even have given you a chance to say that before /ignore.

Yes im supposed to know exactly how each class is supposed to gem/enchant. And im supposed to be able to tell if they are competent by just looking at their gear cause they didnt just pug it and get lucky rolls or have a guild carry them through.

Yes i am bad because of the many failed pugs ive been in. Oh your geared enough SO WTF CANT YOU MOVE OUT OF THE FIRE?!
