Most fail rogue you have ever seen

I will preface this by saying that at this point in time I am pissed beyond all belief. I just lost a roll on Grimtoll to a rogue who is speced like this.

I expoted his spec to keep from getting banned on here for naming and shaming. Oh and he was using Silent Crusader in his main hand. If you do not know why that is bad then you are as bad as him.

Since this is about fail rogues, can someone explain to me what it is with rogues rolling on tanking swords? I mean...I understand that an upgrade is an upgrade but if you're losing a ton of crit for defense and strength then...I mean...really?

And I'm no expert on rogues but...pve with a pvp spec? And mut with a sword? And don't you kind of need hunger for blood?

for those who dont realize the problem with him losing to this fail rogue, you fail as well, hes using a SWORD in his MH and hes MUTILATE spec, FYI that spec uses double daggers for its critical move for all you lost ppl out there...so yeah fuck that guy who you lost too, i lost on Betrayer of Humanity to a hunter in all greens pulling not even 1k dps on my warrior so yeah...some RL's are just retarded :'(

Gonna call HARDCORE BS on your claim. He is the popular Mutilate Spec for PVP. If he is using a sword then he is probably duel specced Combat. On my rogue the armory shows me as Mutilate sometimes even when I switch to combat. As for him using such a slow off-hand... as it happens, using a macro to switch a slow off hand during Killing Spree is a dps boost.

Not only is this highly probable... Its is the ONLY explanation since you CANNOT use mutilate with a sword. If he wasn't mutilating, then he had no (or very little) combo points. Therefore his DPS would be less than 1000. Yes... less than 1k dps. If he did anything higher than that, then what I said above is true and the armory you exported was not yet updated.

You may be pissed beyond belief...but it's only a Grimtoll, it use to be amazing but isnt anymore. I don't know what spec or class you are, but unless you're a Combat Rogue or Warrior it's just another epic..you'll get something better eventually.

Though knowing you lost the roll to a complete retard spec and the fact he cant afford dual spec sucks beyond belief. But that's the wonderful world of RNG. If it's any consolation that's why I was the last geared player in 3.1...I only roll 10s-40s -.-

Yes I am combat speced and I have had shit luck on 10man HM Ulduar as well.

Ya I'm sure you'd love to lose gear to someone who fits this profile

1) Doesn't play much/correctly
2) Can't afford dual spec
3) Doesn't know how to play his/her class
4) Someone so undergeared the last thing they should worry about is a trinket
or 5) All the the above

I am a firm believer when sometimes you got to put your foot down and think who really deserves it because RNG is simply RNG, while we have intelligence.

Early on I did a Maly10 with a rogue who was using tanking swords and doing ~670dps. I was outdpsing her as the tank. I could have outdps'd her just by white swinging as the tank. She was doing negative dps or something. Like 2 sparks+white swing is more than 670dps. Holy goddamn.

Some rogues think that since the weapon, even though it has tank stats, will be an upgrade due to its base damage and dps, and ignore the stats they lose. In other words they are retarded.(or trying to build up a tank set like what some rogues did for fun backin BC, which in this case is not what hes doing)
Now for the spec, hes missing some key talents to make it more pvp(though I could be wrong becuase I hate pvp as a rogue and never cared to go more in depth with it), and about the sword. obviously he did not read the tooltip saying"requires daggers" becuase its not big enough for him to read. If it was like this "REQUIRES DAGGERS YOU IDIOT! then maybe he would switch to daggers....doubt it. And yes he needs hunger for blood, and many many many many other things on top of that.

Well, i think the most fail Rogue i have ever seen was back in BC, i was going to boost a friend through DM with my Protection Pala in T4.

I encountered there a Rouge in S2, who promptly requested a Duell, i like duells with melee Classes. But this one was pretty Quick, the Rogue didn´t Stealth or try to stun me. Instead he was standing in Front of me and hit me very fast, i just casted Holy shield and watch him loose in a few seconds.

The best thing was when he Asked me afterwards if i was Specced PVP because he stood no Chance.

Worst rogue(s) I've seen so far:

1. A rogue who stacked intellect gems. When I asked him/her why "because my intellect was low, and being smarter makes my rogue learn weapons skill faster". I just left the raid......

2. A rogue who stacked MP5 gems "because it helps energy regeneration".

QQ more... Silent Crusader + Grim toll = ARP, the rogue is probably going to respec combat for a armor pen build. "arp is with maces" yeh anything is a upgrade from a shitty dagger when you want to respec.
