Team problems. Help ?

So me and 2 friends of mine made a 3v3 team and roflstomped our way to 1.4k (our scrubby-geared alts. When I say scrubby, I really mean it.)

So 2 days after that I left the team and joined a 3v3 team with my other 2 friends who were in some very nice gear and I knew they were quite experienced so I just thought that we could get to 1.4k and beyond with ease.

We didn't. So my question is, if I join my old team again, My rating is back to 0 so I can't get those lovely Relentless gloves at wednesday ? Had to ask this here as my friends aren't going to play until the next weekend.
