#1 Vezax trinket back in the day

As a resto druid I *lusted* after thiss trinket. 16 times I did Kologarn 10 for the blasted thing, and it never dropped. Not once.

Alts go prancing by with it. People tell me they've seen it drop ten times or more in their raids. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I got over it, though. I was finally able to burn a boatload of DKP to win Solace of the Defeated.

Add the fact that it reduces mana cost of all abilities to a spec that burns through mana faster then a fat kid eats a big mac.

That's dropped on like every run I've done. It's probably been sharded around five times, so last run we just gave it to a hunter for the kicks of it.

Find a trinket in Ulduar that has comparative regen to spark for a holy pally. Oh wait, you can't because there isn't one. So how is a holy pally an idiot for rolling on an item that has the maximal regen of any trinket in the instance?

Is still less regen. It's very nice, but not even close to the same regen as spark. At 30 HLs/minute Spark is saving you 1200 mana a minute. That's 100 MP5, which is already more than Pandora's Plea. The better your haste and the more intense your spam, the more regen.

If they hadn't put the spirit on spark, and had left it as just the 42 mana off each cast, there would never have been any issue with paladins rolling on it.

Spark of hope is a lackluster trinket. That said it was (and still is I suppose) invaluable for Vezax hard mode.

for all the people saying this is amazing for Gen hardmode...you haven't done it in awhile.

Gen hardmode is so easy anyone who will actually be doing it will have better then that terrible trinket.
