Looking for help with ENH in 2's

A friend of mine wonts to do Enh and arcane mage, we havent tried it out yet due to my focus on restro in pvp instead. i was wondering if anyone has tried this combo before and if it was successful or not. And if there is anything i should know before i start. Also what stats should i be gemming/enchanting for this to work well.

For the most part, Enh Shaman gets killed pretty quick in 2's. I roll with a Feral Druid and we can hold our own for a little, but if we get a combo of something like Disc Priest/ MS War we get rolled. Enh Shaman/Arcane Mage would be pure burst and would have to hope to blow away the other team real fast or both of you are going to get roflstomped.
