    Quick Chain heal question

    Hello Fellow shamans,
    i was wondering if riptide is increasing the effect of the entire chainheal when your primary target is affected by riptide.
    in other words: are all 3 (or 4 when glyphed) hits of chainheal increased by 25% or just the primary hit on the "riptided" player.

    thanks

    Re: Quick Chain heal question

    Na its all targets

    Lets say you have 3 people that the CH will heal A, B and C.

    You cast riptide on A and then CH on A, with bounces going to B and C

    The effect of this is that B and C get healed for 25% more thanks to the riptide buff. The riptide HoT will then be removed from A. This is because each bounce heals for 30% (can't remember the %) less than the primary heal.

    CH for 100

    A = 100 * 1.25 = 125
    B = 125 * 0.7 = 87.5
    C = 87.5 * 0.7 = 61.25

    If you cast CH on B, no one will get the boost and the riptide HoT will remain on A.

    B = 100
    A = 100 * 0.7 = 70
    C = 70 * 0.7 = 49

    Re: Quick Chain heal question

    I remember reading that it increases the effect of the whole thing, so 2nd and 3rd target get their healing increased as well.
    I am not 100% sure, though.
    srsly!
