Red text of DOOM!

Is there any way to remove/disable that red error text that appears at the top of your screen?

Here is a screenshot to show you what I mean. Please ignore my spec, I find it more fun than the others and I find it extremely fast with little downtime. And no comments on my UI, I just made it this morning and I'm still figuring everything out.

I think ErrorMonster may be what you're looking for.

If you're willing to edit some lua files try ncerror it's really lightweight.

ErrorMonster doesn't remove sounds/errorspeeches.

Are you talking about error speeches or just that annoying little sound that you hear when something is not ready?

I think error speeches can be turned off from sound menu, but I can't play now so I'm not sure.

I'm not so annoyed by that little sound because I rarely have my volume up high enough to hear it. But that red text, it just clutters up mah screen somethin' bad.

Take a look into the wow official forum thread I posted, only downside is you may have to change all your spells to macros

Also OP just download either ErrorMonster or ncerror and disable error speeches from sound menu

My tip to remove the red text.

1. Stand closer to mob.
2. Dont spamm buttons = no "Spell not ready" text.
3. No mana? stop pressing the spell button.
4. Frozen/Silenced/Stunned? Stop pressing the spell button.
5. Dead? Stop pressing the spell button.

make all your main spam spells macros.... use the following

#showtooltip
/cast *spell here*
/script UIErrorsFrame:UnregisterEvent("UI_ERROR_MESSAGE")

that will get rid of the red text spam

The thread is interesting, but I really dont want to create tons of macros for each spell :/
