Elixer mastery

I'm now transmution mastery i was wondering do i gotta do the qeust to get elixer mastery (I havent done the Elixer mastery Quest)

The post three in says you have to go to the fellow you learned it from in Netherstorm, then to the trainer in Shat for it.

As I recall if your already a master, you pay the guy in Shattrath to switch to another mastery rather than having to do the new mastery quest (not sure if you have to go to the current master trainer and ask to unlearn your current mastery though first). Can't remember how much the change costs off top of my head.

I think it costs 150g. Hot tip instead of doing the harder mastery quests do a easy one(forget what one) then pay the gold to change.
