    Spell Power on ret

    Hello.

I am going to be leveling another paladin on alliance side with a friend of mine. I have pretty much all the heirlooms in the game, so I am faction swapping one of my level 80's and bringing some heirlooms with me. I will be using both Valor pieces, the 2h axe, the haste trinket and was thinking of using the spell power one too. My question is, does SP work with some of the ret abilities? I know alot seem like they would be holy dmg but are physical (DS, CS) but most judgements and consecration are holy. So I was just wondering if SP would add a little bit to it. I realize attackpower would raise it more, but I will likely use the trinket regardless for the mana gains between kills.

Yep, Seals (except Command), Consecration, Judgment, Exorcism, heals, HoW, and possibly Ret Aura (not sure about that one) all have a spell power coefficient.

All spells have an SP coefficent, and all damage spells have an AP and SP coefficient.

Thats why it is hard to compare my 4.7k Ap unbuffed to my rival guild DK that I battle for DPS who has 5.1k AP unbuffed.

to sorta answer the OPs question/remark, nothing is wrong with using the SP BoA trinket on your paladin while lvling, you do gain some from it. Especially considering you dont get trinkets for your character until about 60ish. though, you have already said you're going to use it so, happy lvling.

Ret gets benefit from spell power. Almost all spells get some benefit from SP, but it tends to be the same benefit that it gets from AP (which is available in much bigger quantities).

The biggest benefit of it is the bigger heals you will get. They will save your life.

Today as I was walking in between classes I was whistling the song he sings as the people are taken into the edible room
