It is, assuming you use Bombs on every CD.

Hand-Rockets are a greater DPS than the Haste gloves for Ret.

HA softcapping HL goes a long way to overcoming the DP penalty.

And what do you know, the cooldowns and durations are almost identical.

Jeeves, a 1h cooldown summoneable repair bot with remote bank acces.
Ability to ressurect allies on 30 min cooldown (can miss).
You can use seaforium charges to open doors, chests and boxes (they are cheap but to be honest they didnt add a post 350 skill version, so you can open anything up to lockpicking 350 and its much cheaper thant the skeleton keys)
Best dps boot enchant (24 crit rating) for many classes wich provides nitro boost on 3 min cooldown, you will use it all the time to run faster when you get used to it.
Mote cloud on minimap and ability to extract them (few extra bucks every now and then)
Wormhole generator teleports you near nexus, to ulduar meeting stone, to Utgarde instances and more places on 4 h coodlown.
Teleport to Gadgetzan/Winterspring= check the neutral AH easy.
Pyro rocket is great for pulling or ranged damage as a paladin.
Hyperspeed accelerator glove enchant is BiS for many classes and with a big differnce.
Belt bombs are always nice to have and increase your dps a bit and stun.
Parachute cloak is a pretty good enchant for many classes.
All those enchants are cheaper than enchanting ones and BiS for many classes,
do i need to add more? Do you prefer all of the above or 40 str?

Injectors give back 20% additional mana/health if you are an Engineer.

He was listing the benefits that are unique to the profession holder.

-Blacksmith crafted items can be crafted by anyone
-Belt Buckles can be used by anyone
-None of the Engineering perks he listed are available to anyone save the Engineer

It's funny that you listed reforging because Engineers will be the only ones that can Reforge Trinkets in Cataclysm - or did you just miss that part of the Blizzcon Q&A?

I've heard this before, but I wanted to try the haste out first before I tried the rockets...I've had nothing but success with the haste so far.

Still will get around to trying rockets...maybe even as early as next week's raiding schedule.

BS will give u 46 strength if you are Ret, IMO that is better than rocket gloves

depends a bit on your gear since the hand rockets only scale with your crit and damage increasing debuff's on the boss/AW while the haste enchant scales a bit better acording to rawr the hand rockets are a 2 dps increase for me over the haste enchant so with some upgrades the haste enchant will outscale the gloves for me.

NOTICE: I'm only necroing this thread just because i have a question regarding engineering and dont find it necessary to start a new thread just to ask it.



I noticed that the rockets from the gloves have a chance to apply vindication... by any chance do they cause a seal proc as well?
