Wow-heroes is perfectly fine, according to it I am able to tank 10-man ICC without much difficulty and I did.

When speaking of gearscore people mean usually the ingame addon. Wow-heroes score is approximately half of ingame score.

"required" is an exageration. I did ICC10 on my DK alt, with 4700GS aprox, without many complications, and was 2nd in dps after an arcane mage. Since i don't consider myself highly skilled (even less with DKs), i guess ICC can be pugged by anyone over 21k hp.

Yes gearscore is stupid, only a thing to see who's got the largest penis.
Bu if u must know u can do icc 25 with 4200 GS and be top 5 of the dps.

I don't have the gearscore addon, and nobody has told me what my gearscore is, so I really don't know. But I skipped all of T9 (only ran ToC10 once, and got no loot). I'm in all Ulduar gear, a few 239's since we did do all the hard modes, but I jumped right into ICC10 and healed fine as a resto shaman.

- Although many PuGs cleared ICC10.

This week.
- Everyone gonna ask for ICC achievement.

- Although they didn't have any piece of ICC gear.

- Many PuGs with every member having the achievement will wipe and disband.
- Many new PuGs with no achievement will clear it.

- This PuGs will ask next week for achievement to invite you.
- Althoush they've cleared it without stepping foot in there

- If achievement matters at all no PuG would have been able to clear ICC10 the first week
- If you haven't cleared ICC 10 the previous week you mostly won't be able to get an ICC group for a long time.

Then most of the time, the joke is on you my friend.

If you actually try it and use it a while you can inspect anyone anywhere you want, so they can't "fake" high gearscores with pvp gear or w/e you're affraid of.

Their raidleading skills consist in hoping people will magically organize themselves, that healers will "heal what's low HP" and that they won't wipe... People in those raids are 14 on average, and their success rate is like what, 10%? 5% if it's Onyxia cause fire burns you know??

They are the kind of people who are LFM VoA, asking for Koralon achieve... But when you log an alt you have benched for a couple month, and say you don't have it but link something like [Firefighter] instead, they tell you "GTFO NUB ARCHI OR NO INV"

They are the same people who inspect your agility gemmed pvp rogue, and tell you "LOL M8 GEM PVP IS AP YOU FAIL LOL"... when you mention your team rating is 1k above them, they say "LOL EBAY M8 L2P"

I see people in 245 gear doing 3.5k dps, I see people from the same classes in 226 gear doing 6k... GS mean shit, when are people gonna get that :S

wow-heroes is half way decent, it actually judges people enchants and gems, not just the ilvl of peoples gear.

but i know a fresh 80 (low 3000s GS) out healing 4500+ GS players, so dont judge everything by their GS.

As I use GS i'll take that directly against me so my turn now...

Ppl who say gearscore is retarded, are retarded. Because ppl can manage to lie about their gear/dps and everything easily, with gearscore you are MORE sure that the ppl have accomplished ANYTHING and got some decent gear, after all a guy in full 245 will most likely outdps a "pro" in ilvl 200. So the point is you can always be more sure then when ppl just tell you they know tactics and deal 5k dps and whatnot.

Wow-heroes isn't "wrong" per se.....Gear Score is just a Heroic PoS (cwutididthar?) that was birthed in the womb of someone with daddy issues. I don't have the add-on, and don't care to know what my "score" is.

Oh, and feel free to armory to see if I have any reason to lie about my "gearscore". -_-

The gear score of the PVE set I raid in is significantly lower than what I could have if I equipped all my "Best" PVE items. Because of this, people who don't know how to gear themselves are getting the raid spots that I'd out-dps them in. Gotta love gear score.

The amount of times I've equipped melee DPS trinkets & a sword on my mage to increase my gearscore and still get accepted for raids is unreal.
