DK Tanking Question

How well would this spec work in 5 man heroics or even old 10 mans, i know it probably wouldn't be a good spec for newer 10s and 25s but what about just 5 man heroics and old lich king 10 mans, ie, naxx.

Dunno what you mean.

Would it be possible to do old 10 mans with it? Yes. Is it a good spec for it? Not really. Is it a good spec overall? Not really.

It's a very, very bad spec.

Let me list just a few issues:

* Rune tap is bad
* Nerves of Cold Steel, for a 2h blood spec? Why? You don't have neither a one-hand, nor an off-hand weapon.
* Black Ice? As blood, your main source of damage is physical, not shadow, and especially not frost.
* Vendetta is terrible for tanking. It procs after combat, at which point healing is useless (yeah, it can proc on trash, but if your healers have issues keeping you up on trash, you shouldn't be there in the first place)
* Mark of Blood is terrible
* Improved Blood Presence is useless for tanking
* Lichborne... why?
* Chill of the Grave & Endless Winter are quite useless for blood.
* Frigid Dreadplate is worse than Anticipation, which you didn't take
* No anticipation
* No Bloody Vengeance
* No Dark Conviction
* No Subversion
* No Blood Gorged

I dunno what you tried to accomplish with that spec, but it came out quite horrible.

You need dps talents like blood gorged and subversion to to keep threat.
