    Macro to activate aura

I sometimes forget which aspect I currently have active on my hunter, so instead of activating the one I want, it gets deactivated because it was already active. Thus, I'd like to make a macro that activates an aspect unless it's already active (in which case it should do nothing).

    Can anyone help me out?

    Re: Macro to activate aura

    Just make it like this

    /cast !Aspect of the Dragonhawk

It will only toggle it on and won't do anything if it's already on.

If you want one to switch between the two then WoWWiki says this one works.

    #showtooltip Aspect of the Dragonhawk
    /cast Aspect of the Dragonhawk
    /cast Aspect of the Viper

    Re: Macro to activate aura

#showtooltip [aura you want to switch to]
/cast sequence ![aura you want to switch to], [normal aura]

should show you the aura you want to switch to, by hitting it you will gain that aura if it's not already on, and hitting it again will return you to normal aura, ie dragonhawk.

Lag - Network related. High server response time, stop downloading.
Low FPS - Your computer can't keep up with the game - buy a better one

Dalaran doesn't lag (often) your pc just sucks.

    Re: Macro to activate aura

The first suggestion works better than just having my skill on the hotbar since it doesn't deactivate the aspect, but it still recasts it and thus costs me a global cooldown. Is there any way to avoid the aspect casting at all if it's already active?

As for the second suggestion by Beasticus, I couldn't get it to work. Nothing happened when I used it.

The first thing I would suggest is to just look at your buffs. You should be able to easily see the difference between viper and dragonhawk. If that fails, then do what the others have said.
