Stacking Haste for 2p T10?

The title speaks for itself. I was just wondering because of the 2piece bonus of ret pally T10, should i be socketing haste gems to reach the cap and then go back to str gems? all in all it would just be nice to hear other people's opinions.

Haste actually became slightly worse.

Well, not worse, less important. With the 2pc t10, it actually pushed armor pen above haste, since DS is a full physical ability, str is still multitudes better though, so don't bother regemming.

haste cap is 50% fail at writting..

but you dont have enough haste on gear/gem to get there, not worth either

3279 haste rating to get capped without diminushing return (if there is any.. i have no idea and i dont care)

2pc t10 buffs haste as well, just not as much.

Haste/ArP have both been relatively shitty stats for a while now, I doubt they will catch up to crit in terms of usefulness.

They are both about 77% as good as Crit, with ArP being SLIGHTLY better than Haste.

i have done the math on this, and made a test char in Rawr.

seems the highest haste % you can get without procs is 113% and some more. this includes double passive haste trinkets (one of which is a caster one, the dislodged foreign object), gemming for haste (all quick amber and/or dragon eyes), enchanting for haste and using haste food and elixir.however, most of the items we need for this are *really* low on the BiS list. luckily, we have 2 +haste tier items.

result: not a chance at high DPS. about 6K.
