The latter. The Rejuv doesn't leap off of the target you actually wanted to heal. You just sometimes get a second hot on someone else.

It sounds like it was broken on the PTR for awhile, but we're pretty sure it works correctly on Live, and if not, we'll get it fixed.

I always assumed it would work like that. The alternative would make it counter-productive.

A question that still remains is whether or not the jump is random or "smart" (like wild growth hitting the people in range that need it the most).
Even if it is smart, it'll probably only be good for fights like Twin Val'kyrs. This sort of proc is unreliable, and will probably annoy the crap out of me if it happens to jump to a target that I already started casting a heal on.

The tier8 and tier9 4piece bonuses are more fun, imo, and probably contribute more to your effective healing done.

the tier 9 bonus shouldnt be a bonus it should be a deeper talent in the resto tree giving say rejuv or wg the chance to crit.

I expect that may be a welcome change in cataclysm talent trees for us.

yea, or the T8 bonus, having a tick at the start of your rejuv is nice as well ^^

It could be. Or maybe an early balance talent saying "your dots can crit", so it would be useful for both specs (and we all know lazor chickens could use some love).

I'm a bit worried about stat weighting if they do that tho. Unless they seriously fix haste for us, crit wold be insanely better.

this is why they are doing the rapid rejuv glyph experiment, to see how haste can effect HoT and DoT's spells. If it is a success we will see haste helping with most HoT's in cataclysm same with DoT's.

Edit: i totally agree with you on the talent thing that would be awesome. Set bonuses should be fun not a talent on gear!
