LOL @ Ensidia and Vodka Intro Logos...

Well after some intense research (edit: my girlfriend looking on a tutorial site for help with her AE projects)... We found that Ensidia's and Vodka's logos were nearly exact duplicates from the following tutorials. Great amount of originality!

OP registered to reveal something that people with a slight interest in After Effects have already known for ages. Oh and there's a lot of people that don't care about AAE and still know so yea you're a bit slow or you live under a rock.. Maybe a combination? The Algalon kill video dates from June '09 btw.

Also why would it be bad for a guild to use a pretty sweet logo effect for their logo? Their main concern is killing bosses and having fun, some people like to toy around in AAE. You don't have to be a pro to follow a tutorial, besides that, does it really matter where they got the logo from? They never said it was their own idea? Plus I think it kind of suits them.

You ever watch a movie trailer for a movie that you just know is going to be bad?

And how every clip in the preview for that bad movie are quite possibly the best the film has to offer?

Maybe... and i'm just going out on a limb here, maybe, these are some of the only decent graphics that come packaged with the software, and since they're the best the software has to offer, they're in the tutorial to snag buyers. Then factor that these guys are too busy pwning @ WoW and scoring chicks IRL, that they can't be bothered to create something new and original for something that becomes an afterthought once they finish it.

These guys don't have time nor budget to create all original material for each and every video for their fan base. So why not use the best the software has to offer?

(I've never used the software, so maybe their is legitimately better graphics within the program. But can you blame people who'd rather be doing something else for using copy pasting what the Tutorial has already given them? It's not like they're selling it, or turning it in for graduate consideration.

It's a freaking fan film on the intranets.
