Destruction: Sundial of the Exiled vs Fetis of Volatile Power

Yesterday I won Fetish of Volatile Power on my Warlock in ToC25 and I was wondering if it is better than Sundial of the Exiled

The reason I asked this is because my character isn't where it should be, meaning that there are some obstacles that doesn't make it clear whether I should take Sundial or Fetish. I have the feeling that my haste is low, but on the other hand my spellpower is also low.

• I am way over hitcap at the moment, but since T10 shoulder lack hitrating I'd rather be over the hitcap for a while than under it.
  
• My spellpower is low as well, but tonight we're doing ICC10 and if I am lucky Frost Needle drops (that is why I didn't buy Quel'delar, Lens of the Mind yet). Since I will probably be the only caster that needs upgrades from the first bosses, it is likely that the Scourgelord's Batton will be mine as well.
• Regarding my gems; Is the current distribution of gems good or should I replace all of them with 25 spellpower (minus the two blue ones for my meta-gem)

I don't think it is. At least not for elemental shamans. But then again crit sucks for elemental shamans and maybe not for warlocks?

Crit isn't bad for Warlocks, but I think spellpower is always better...

Sundial is better. It's not that crit is bad for warlocks, because it's not too much further behind haste as destro, it's just that the on-use trinket for Fetish is rather mediocre. Sundial procs a fair amount and is just a good trinket all around; at least until you can get the Abyssal Rune.

Yesterday I saw a Mage in Dalaran with both the normal and the heroic version of it. I didn't knew that that much fail is possible.

It was best in slot for Arcane mages (pre-Reign). I shit you not.

Yeah only for everything other than moonkin (starfall) the buff stacks so slowly that the average haste you get from this is far below the average haste abyssal rune gives you. Then comes the crit, which is an utter garbage stat for arcane mages as their crits don't even do 200% damage. The emblem of frost intellect trinket and the abyssal rune are both far, far superiour to this trinket for arcane mages.

The sundial is better for affliction as well, especially seeing as Fetish of Volatile Power is awful, and I do mean AWFUL, for affliction.
