Whenever I look at these forums I see threads about how Festergut is overpowered or needs a nerf.

To combat this, the Emblem of Conquest Raid Guide Brigade has produced a strategy to defeat this highly challenging boss.

Don't mean to sound elitist, but I'm very surprised to see people whining over the tuning of this very easy boss !
We killed him with heavy lag after, admittedly a fair bit of wipes, but still to call him hard, would be a far stretch of the imagination. Nice "how to" I guess.

Also I downed the boss in an alt raid so it's getting to the joking mcjokenstein point if you can't do this guy in your main raid.

While I agree with you that the 10 man version of Festergut is very easy, you may have missed that this guide refers to the 25 man version which is considerably harder (as it requires each DPS'er to do an average of 15750 DPS).

I haven't seen any dps do that much ever on a non-twins, non-ae fight.

Do you even know how the boss works? He enrages after 2 minutes 15 seconds. That means an average 15750 DPS is required.

He doesnt enrage untill after 5 minutes.
