Not true at all. I don't know about DKs but agi weapons are better for warriors very often, especially as offhand and quite frequently for paladins too.

Str weapons usually give more AP but they only have 4 stats on them while agi ones have 5 so you get more out of those. Also +hit on a weapon is bad, you only need 7 or 8% total and too much plate items have hit on them these days.

If anything, you should be tolerating excess hit more on a weapon than on any other piece, because....it's your weapon. Other slots are for stats. Equip the best weapon you can, balance the stats on your other items around that.

Also, I can't think of any agi 2h that's better than a str 2h of the same tier.

Heroic edge of agony vs DBB normal is pretty tight call.

But in any case the STR one is much better for this case.

There's actually no +hit on either weapon; the person was indeed seriously referring to the damage range of the weapon, which is terrible reasoning at best for choosing a weapon.

No, not really.

For Warriors the Agi sword comes out barely ahead due to Haste being a 'waste' of a stat for Warriors. We get much more benefit out of the armor pen. It comes down to AP/Haste vs ArP/Crit and for Warriors, the ArP/Crit won.
