Deathwing fight

I just wanted to know your thoughts about Deathwing fight. Deathwing has acidic blood on his body, that means dps and tanks will get damage when they attack the boss, and as Deathwing has a tough armor, he will not take that much damage. He is a dragon, and he ofc will have an air phase, also a "deep breath" like spell. What is your thoughts about this fight?

And isn't he like 2x Alextrasza's size? he's humongus!!! the only was players could actually hurt him if he's swallow you alive and you screw up his digestive system =P ya know, Old God style XD

He will hopefully be Onyxia + Nefarion (they are both Black Dragons) + probably Malygos (without the bloody annoying drake phase), probably with a bit of Kil'Jaeden thrown in (massive aoe shiz)

God I hope they put some random class calls in like the Nef fight. It was just so epic. Also watching warriors trying hopelessly to tank 100+ skeletons was funny as hell.

Think it'll be easy. He'll summon flying rocks you have to kill them = damage increased by 50% for each stack of the (dead) rock and in P2 he'll spawn twilight cultists and in P3 you'll fly on red dragons to finish him (about 50%)

I'd love to have a weird phase where for example Kalecgos creates these frosty bubbles that you have to enter in 10 seconds or whatever before Deathwing lifts off into the air and fills the room with lava.

Basically similar to the Kil'jaeden AoE, but with FUCKING LAVA.

Either Varian Chynn and Deathchin 'face' off while you get the popcorn, or it will start with killing his minions, then avoiding earthquakes and lava floods, possibly Faceless, and then the Netherwing come in and save the day while you attack at his exposed heart.

Actually, the power that he got basically screwed up his earth commanding abilities and he's leaking lava. He had dwarves rivet heavy duty plates to his body to prevent himself from falling apart (which is also where the HUMUNGOUS chin comes from).

I believe Khadgar chased him off at one point by magicing out the rivets so he had to flee or fall apart.

Most likely the fight against Deathwing will comprise of a phase where the armor has to be weakened enough for it to crack or fall off. Maybe at the end a gauntlet-type event where the heroes have to stay alive, fight off a last ditch effort from Deathwing ("If I have to die... YOU WILL ALL DIE WITH ME!"), and watch him fall apart before Alexstrasza finally swoops in and delivers the final/merciful blow... and totally killstealing our mob.

I'd guess that nozdormu,alexstrasza or Ysera will come to aid us in this fight, P1 : Tank and spank P2: Firewall phase P3 : Dragon fight (Only npc's) We cover them and kill black Dragon flight, P4 : Malygos/FL fight like Siegie, that's to say....

Then ofc, he isn't gonna die this easly, and malygos will proply come to help us to end him ....

Just correcting a couple of things:

The plates were made and put in place by Goblins.

Khadgar didn't magic the plate away, he used a magnifying spell on Deathwing's chest-plate, revealing the burning innards of the dragon.

I'm afraid fight will be same crap as Malygos phase 3.
While DemonSoul was undamaged all other aspects together couldn't even scratch him and after artefact was destroyed he would still be strong enough to overpower 2 or 3 of them together.
To fight Malygos you needed generous help of red dragonflight...without Alexstraza's magic you wouldn't even be able to engage him (she empower artifact found at Sapphiron).
So I'm afraid only way to defeat him will be to use powers of other aspects.
Only other possible way would be through extra CoT raid - perhaps traveling to past to prevent event what empowered him enough to return.
Ofc Blizz can greatly change the lore..story of Deathwing being so powerful to cause Cataclysm sound really lame..why destroying half of world if he can do it all so easily.
IMO lore should be adjusted that Deathwing was merely released by cataclysm, not maker of it.
That would be logic way of history -->we kill old god-->Cataclysm happen-->new evil is released.

I'm gonne guess that Deathwing and malygos aren't dead after we defete them, emprowed by the great titans to protect parts of the earth and we kill them ... what an improwment :O!

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.

I think that while we killed the Old God, it wasn't what the Titans meant with "destruction of the parasite". We basically send them into some sort of stasis where they regenerate. They are dead, but far from gone.

They aren't even gonna die, the old god dies ... good bye azeroth ... and also ... they we're ripped apart by the titans so they wear weak .... so we're just facing the eye of C'thun and Yogg saron's mouth ... they would be complete = We're f****d
