Hardest boss of ICC so far?

I know there might be some inconsistencies between 10 and 25 man on certain bosses but I'm not bothered about that, just pick regardless of number of players (whichever you do the most). This isn't for a science journal.

Putricide is the hardest boss in there now, followed by Lana'thel, followed by Rotface, followed by Blood princes.

I think currently Blood Queen is the hardest, but only because it requires a huge amount of healing, and you cant really lose any DPS too early either. I do think however with more gear that it will become very easy, because in theory its definitely not hard at all (I did it last night for the first time on 10 man, got it on our 4th attempt).

So probably Putricide is the hardest aside from BQL.

Professor Putricide, followed by Lana'thel, followed by Rotface, followed by Festergut, followed by Princes, followed by everything else. IMO, anyway. The first three are the only ones that seem a bit "hard", though, not counting Festergut because if you plan on clearing ICC you probably have plenty of DPS for him.

This is assuming 25-man but it also seems true in 10-man.

Based on doing both encounters before the first nerfs and after the first slight nerfs, I would say the Blood-Queen when she first came out was slightly harder than Putricide even though the tactics are simpler. Now with the bite change you end up reaching the hard enrage when the big MC wave is hitting and you won't end up with killing someone off for more time and having to set up a biting order for 12 people. As a result, I see Putricide as the harder encounter unless the strengths of your raiding force favour him though even then with better gear, you will see difficulty change on Blood-Queen alot faster.

Can't say much about blood queen since we spent our 15 attempts on putricide (10 man). got him down to 16% but then wiped due to too much slime puddles. so yeah, he is the hardest so far...

I say PP, as it is part RNG...plus limited attempts doesn't make it easy.

I never did Putricide, I just got into an ICC10 yesterday with guild-(I'm DPS, so I usually have to get sat out, especially since 'More people need the gear' thing and whatnot to get everyone geared up for ICC25). But I really, really, -really- hated Rotface. After that, I wouldn't say it's hard, but I hate Saurfang. Mostly just because it's long and I hate kiting. ><

Shouldn't ever have to kite on Saurfang if your ranged is on the ball, especially in 10man. :

I don't get the people saying putri is hard. At least on 10 man he's easy, we've had 2 wipes on him when we were learning the fight, once we had a healer welded into a slime pool once we had somebody move too slow on gas cloud. Since that one shotted each time.

I suppose if DPS is low or you're 3 healing you may have problems with the dot getting to high levels in P3, I've not seen it become a problem.

I think the boss difficulty depends on your particular composition / strengths as a raid... if your healers struggle, then you'll probably have more difficulty with the Blood Queen. If your dps is slow, then you'll probably have a lot of trouble with Putricide.

I've watched a Putricide walkthrough vid on tankspot but I can't see how the RNG thing comes into effect?

Also, I though 3 healers was the standard number for a 10 man raid? Are you guys 2 healing everything?

I still think blood queen is a little tougher, but still very simple.

Thing is, everything in there is easy on 10 right now. Sure, he's not hard on 10, but he's certainly harder than everything else.

Take your 25man group to both, never having seen them before.

You won't have Putricide down in 15 attempts. You might have Lana'thel down.

There's your difference.
