is it possible to intentionally increase your pets size

hello i have seen a 30 foot tall wolf today in dalaran. i have seen videos of stuff like this in 2.x.x patches so i thought it was old and patched but i guess not.


do you know how to make your pet that big? i see that the name plate was epic maybe that helps.

Sometimes with a freshly tamed pet the server doesn't update the model correctly (or at least, it didn't), so you would have a full size Devilsaur traveling around with you.

Not a hunter's wolf -- that only works on non-combat pets.

To be fair I wasn't sure if the OP meant a Non-combat pet or an actual Hunter pet, so I offered both possibilities.

Ya the server just doesnt register it right, iv seen rares on the pic and even the name of what animal they tamnd i think when you see it no one else can its just a personal things at times but i also think itd be possible to purposly do it but iono.

My guess is that it was either a freshly tamed mob, as stated earlier in this post, or it's the Worgen Wolf. I remember the day it all went bad for the Worgen Pet, in it's place was a freeking massive White Wolf on login. Just a possibility :/

I've seen a few massive pets, but that is only a few seconds after they are called from the stables. They are their pretamed size, and then they quickly shrink back down to normal, but after that i don't know.
