From the moment you enter til the second you can start killing first ghoul, its 9-10 mins. Check your dungeon debuff next time.

I actually had CoS as the random today, so I did just that...

The first wave spawns with 9 mins left on the debuff.

I run straight ahead into the shop where you can repair, run out whine about it taking to much time wait till it's over and start killing the mobs.

I exit the dungeon and continue farming until the rest of the group tells me to come back because they are ready to pull.

Silly options so did't vote but like most others just do the crates cause most is too high on themselves to help and then wait 10min. It's the only one left they need to fix to make all heroics now v fast to do so I'm guessing it's in the works as a blue already said it's more complicated then we think to make it happen but I'm sure it will sooner or later

There are lots of fun things to do that most people havent even heard of. There are 4 vendors in CoS before Malganis appears: a flower vendor, a repairer, a general goods vendor and a food&drink vendor. There are also various NPCs that interact with each other, like the male citizen that insults the food&drink vendor for selling him bad food and the NPCs yelling outside of the mayor's house. You can also see the little welcoming robot outside the tobacco shop as well as the living Magistrate Barthilas (these 2 gave me a nostalgic feeling of vanilla stratholme).

the first 3 times i went to cot strat i completed the crate events and listened / followed every npc to see how they react i read every piece of text etc followed arthas. Now however i just run straight to where the first elite mobs spawn and go afk for a couple of minutes -.-

well the 4-5 first times it was okey, but since the release it is getting rather annoying.
I usually browse some forums while waiting or inspect the other members.

i generally do the grain shipment thing for everyone, everyone buffs up while waiting for arthas' speech to end, then i pop up my traveler's tundra mammoth if anyone needs vendors, keep an eye out for arthas coming by, talk with him to tell him to get a move on, wait a bit more...zzz....ooh zombies? FINALLY!!! killkillkill...

i generally tolerate it, as the preparations for the instance and other stuff takes a few minutes anyway.

When my group arrives at the entrance of Strath where MG first appears, I get in front of them and begin dance in bear form! I do it for a minute or so while they cheer and clap then I yell 'THIS BEAR DANCE AIN'T PAYIN' FOR ITSELF!' And proceed for the next 5 mins trying to get money off them... Yes, I know, you can't trade money through cross server... But I try nonetheless! ;D

If I'm on my healer/tank I leave that shit and do a daily or two for golds. On my lock I just stick it out.
