How do you deal with the 10 minutes of Arthas Dialogue at the beginning of Culling of Stratholme Dungeon?

I really enjoyed it the first time, kind of like the introductions with ToC. After doing it over and over and over again, I don't need to hear Arthas argue with Jaina and Uther anymore.

Having just completed WC3 for the first time just before wrath hit, I was very impressed with COT strat the first time as it is such an important lore moment. The second time is was still kind of cool.

Now I just head up to the instance and then go make a coffee or make a sandwich while I wait for it.

I remember reading a blue post saying that it wasn't that easy for them to remove the start sequence from that particular instance as they made possible in HoR and ToC.

Don't worry guys if I remeber correcty they said that in the next minor patch an option is comming to skip the beginning lore.

Although when this goes live I will commit myself to getting to chromie first and chooseing the long version, I love lore

I leave, I'm not sitting through an rp event that takes longer to finish than most heroics do. As a dps I'm easily replaceable and I'd rather take a 15 minute break than do that terrible instance ever again.

I try not to cry when I hear the shitty Arthas voice Blizzard used instead of the orginal actor who played Arthas in WC3.

We mock it. We /yell at Arthas while making stupid emotes. We yell "WE KNOW ALREADY" and go "JESUS CHRIST ARTHAS WE KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS INSTANCE THAN YOU DO".

We /wail, "I'm sorry Arthas, I can't watch you do this!"

Basically we LOL at Arthas the whole time.

The problem is you can't skip it like in HoR, otherwise I think it greatly adds to game depth and I would be sad to have none of it in Cata.

Personally though, I rather enjoy the RP in the beginning, it's still one of my favorite dungeons mainly cause of all the RP.

One of the best quotes is in that beginning RP, right after Arthas kills the first innocent victims claiming "This is just the beginning" (of the slaughter of strat), and malganis appears saying "yes, this is the beginning" (talking about the beginning of arthas' descent to evil).
