I would go human, every man for themself, while nothign special for pvp because everyone can get that ability but I have found it exceptionally useful in raids as well.

Dwarfs have a lot of lore and humans have some nice racials but with Cata coming I would go Dwarf , find treasure FTW!!!!!!!

For prot paladin i'd choose - dwarf. They are smal, funny cool. Plus when they fight they got that "yoooaa" sound whenever swinging weapons.

Human is good for racials......for now. But if blizz changes them again u will be left with a char w/o racials perhaps. Better go with what you like imo not racial bonuses.

Human animations and movement look stupid and you will get sick of it whereas dwarves look cool.

Also find treasure will actually be useful in Cata because of Archaeology.
