ROTFL. I shoulda' done that for an april fools joke. Just loaded my father's computer down with shortcuts and made them all the desktop image, then hidden all the icons. >.>

Trying to keep my desktop clean usually. Also recently installed W7 so I have not bothered with finding a good background or fiddle with the other options W7 have.

Why.... WHY do people use their desktop as a proverbial PC GARBAGE DUMP?! I mean I have a few icons, but sheesh.

When you drag and drop crap around and use win+d and win+m heavily, the desktop serves as an excellent staging area.

Thus, my work desktop is a mess of icons. However, my home tower is nice and clean unless I'm organizing files.

I have to leave my work tower a mess of icons on the desktop (mostly by saving project files to the desktop), cause my co-workers cannot find anything I do after I archive stuff to the data drive. Luddites. xD

Yep I just dl some simple web browser images and such to the desktop then file them on away ;P

I keep a few things I would run on boot, but not stuff I want to auto run at boot on there. Like right now, Prime95, Core Temp, E-LEET and a few others. But most of the time the desktop is not even visible for me. I have an entire drive dedicated to downloads and scratch files and the like.

I try to keep my desktop as clean as possible.




Also, I do the same thing with my start menu (I start some games with my keyboard binds so I don't need to put them there)

Usually what's on my desktop is stuff I am working on/playing with. All my programs are pinned to my taskbar or in the start menu.



See? Nice and clean. Except for the rooting folder, since I'm trying to root my HTC Vision. xD
