Some of the most gorgeous metal released (one of them is this year). And yes, the first one is a full 71 minutes. One song.
I come bearing metal after a month or two hiatus from this thread
Progressive/Tech Death metal
Avant-Garde/Prog Metal

These guys are kicking my ass all over the place these days. I love discovering new bands you really dig, nothing like that feeling.
I really love power metal and I was wondering how many of you like this too. I think this is really the perfect gaming music for me, especially for Skyrim, but also for WoW, etc. My (only) really favourite band is Sonata Arctica in the genre, so I am looking for other bands. My question: What other awesome power metal bands like Sonata Arctica are there? It don't has to be pure power metal, I'm also satisfied with melodic, epic metal.
Obviously, this needed a separate thread.
lost horizon, persuader, pathfinder?
Dragonforce, Rhapsody, Reinxeed, Dragonland, Freedom Call and GranRodeo (if you like metal from japan^^)
that is the most of my list from the metal section
Merged the thread into this one.
Check out Iced Earth.
Iced Earth is alright. Camelot and falconer are also good power metal.
I'll always go with The old Dream Theater
More metalz I like!
Feeling kind of Thrashy tonight! Some awesome Brutal / Deathrash
This album has absoutely perfect production for Metal. Perfect fat and heavy guitar tone, clear drums that don't sound dead like most modern recordings.
Produced by the same guy that produced Scream Bloody Gore
At 0:10, behold, the heaviest E powerchord, that ever was, and ever will be recorded.
They're (short for They are) describes a group of people. "They're/They are a nice bunch of guys." Their indicates that something belongs/is related to a group of people. "Their car was all out of fuel." There refers to a location. "Let's set up camp over there." There is also no such thing as "could/should OF". The correct way is: Could/should'VE, or could/should HAVE.
Holyfury armory
Brisbane based New Zealand band. Quite good imo.
Been listening to Be'Lakor.
Shit's really good.
