This is not easy. There are simply too many awesome movies. I'm going to go with what springs to mind:

Pulp Fiction
Memento
Shawshank Redemption
Reservoir Dogs
Donnie Darko
Fight Club
Goodfellas
A Clockwork Orange

...Looking at them like this, they don't all have a lot in common (except that crime is prominent in all of them). Guess I don't really know why I like movies.

My favorite movie is easily Fifth Element. Seriously, it's perfect.

Other movies I'm especially fond of include The Fall, Amelie, Lord of the Rings, and other such movies.

I'd probably have to have a top 50 to get most of my favorite movies in there, and this is a bit biased as I'm only 21.
It would be easier to narrow it down if we said best movie of each genre, that would make it way easier.

Zombieland was great, Blazing Saddles, most Mel Brooks movies, the list goes on.
