No Elemental/Resto Shaman Weapon from Lich King?

Hi,
i would like to know why eleshamans are the new mages and cry, moan and bitch all day long ....

As you can see, we are a guild with several players playing on the edge, competing for rankings in the top20 spots of their class.
Our eleshaman does extremely well and is nowhere 2-3k dps behind the hybrids as you constantly try to argue in different forums.

I want to know why you all cry constantly when its really only a l2p-issue that you shamans have? When i open the damage dealing section of the official wow forums i am flooded with elemental shaman tears.
To me it comes off as if the shaman class is like the hunter class. Around 90% of its players are really, really bad and the class gets balanced around that fact.
You dont need any buffs! You dont need better itemized gear!

Your shaman is really good, top gear, obviosly great gameplay, however it is not fair to link Saurfang fight as chain lightning does not suffer aoe dmg reduction. Also, the overall dmg is great and in such a short fight all the haste that is generated from bloodlust, pots, gloves, racial and EM really really makes a huge dps boost.
Overall I think the 4% dps buff they are giving us is good and I do indeed wish that they would have given us a more "fun" 4 set piece bonus but hey, its better than it was.

nice post... basically your telling us we're noobs for not wanting to stay in our 258ilvl gear and for wanting decent icc mail items with the correct itemization or weapons.. yes we may not ask for them weapons..

i love how your shammy is still mostly in togc gear and cloth/leather items.

yeah elemental damage isn't that bad but we could use a good mainhand from icc25 and some good mail loot.
2bad that icc loot increases mainly haste and crit and we don't scale that greatly with either one (crit being just bad and haste bouncing us under gcd).

Your troll engineer ele shaman can tell you that it's awesome when using cooldowns (hyperspeed ac., berserking, em, bloodlust/heroism) it pushes your lightning bolt under gcd.
Good luck for him with that combo when icc loot mainly increases his haste and crit which both aren't that great, especially for troll engineer shaman.

Kudos to you and your guild for being "top notch" and all. I know my guild is def. not.
We get things done, in the end... I shouldn't complain really.

Why are ALL of the 25m ICC caster weapons swords, maces with mp5 on them or daggers with spirit?
Where are the daggers and maces with spell power / haste / crit?
Where is all the mail gear without mp5 and for Enhance the gear without ArP?
Why is the best caster weapon available to us (ICC 10 LK http://www.wowhead.com/?item=51803) not counting S8 PvP weapons, equivalent to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48408?
Seems if they just gave us the itemization that holy paladins got (mainly being sp / crit / haste) we'd be fine OR the option to exchange it for a different piece at the cost of like a P. Saronite similar to Sunwell Plateau's sunmote exchanges.
Anyone else besides me sick and tired of wearing cloth or leather because the stats are better?

Well you answered your own question about daggers with SP haste and crit. So that's not a question. Also, the heroic 10 man dagger, if you get it, should be good enough for you, less qq more pew pew.

Second part, why in the world are you wearing cloth or leather, there's 5 pieces you can get for your spec via badges(AKA TIER). And 2 other 264 items with badges, gloves and belt, no mp5. A shield from the first boss in 25 man. Spell crit haste neck from Blood Queen. Craftable 264 boots that don't have MP5 on it. SP crit haste bracers from rotface and a SP crit haste cloak from Valithria Dreamwalker. No reason to be wearing cloth or leather at all. Best loot table for ele shammys thus far in WoTLK.

You know some people want bis gear. In this case it means that you'll be wearing 3 pieces of cloth (boots, waist, hands/legs). And your best mainhand is ilevel 271 from heroic lich king (10man), most classes get their bis weapons from lich king (25man heroic).

Having crit and mp5 just brings it to the lowest of the low. Being 2 of the most useless stats for an ele shammy.

Definitely we want 284 - all class/specs combinations have something except ele shamans / s priests.
