Such rubbish. Ensidia get punished for discovering something Blizzards billions of dollars didn't.

They should have extreme internal testing before launch if this is the consequences of doing your normal thing.

Actually when your game is bugged, you can only do 2 things.
Fix it or ban whoever finds a bug.

Imagine that your municipal services stop fixing roads and roof of your house, and instead you are sent to jail whenever you say the rain is coming through the ceiling and you can't drive out of your street on your car.

Would you prefer to be sent in jail?
Or maybe they should actually fix something?

Of course there is no need to fix anything. We can all just pretend there is no bugs in game.

I'm not sure if this is a serious post, but it might be one of the worst analogies of all time.

Ensidia did not get banned for simply reporting a bug. They found the bug, exploited it, used it to their advantage, and then reported it after they killed the Lich King.

If you buy into their story of "Oh gee, I didn't know!" then I'm afraid that you aren't giving them enough credit.

Wow is what they do. They are very intelligent people, and they knew what was going on.

Are you retarded? Your analogy is awful. It's more like you go to an ATM to withdraw money, you see that your account for whatever reason has an extra $100,000 in it. Instead of reporting this issue to your bank, you take the money and go spend it all. The bank is undoubtedly going to find out, and you will be forced to pay the money back or worse some kind of criminal charges. Was it your fault that the bank added some extra 0s or whatever in your bank account? No. But it IS your fault you decided to take advantage of it and abuse it instead of reporting it, and in the end you are the one that will end up paying for it, not the bank.

Blizzard screwed up with the encounter, but Ensidia exploited the mistake (hint, the rogue wasn't throwing bombs at Arthas when he was rebuilding the platform), hence the reason they were punished.

Hmm If any guild (not just Ensidia) found that using Bombs was collapsing the platform when it wasn't meant to would that guild continue to use bombs on the encounter. Yes maybe a PuG raid but not a guild raid it would be stopped and immediately reported to a GM. However, when the bombs cause the opposite effect they presume it's part of the encounter and every raid you put together to Kill the Lich King clearly needs to have an overloading of Engineers to complete.. Hmmmm

1 you dont need overloading of Engineers
2 should you disband your raid when you discover a priest can MC the adds from instructor?

Cant say these guys didnt have it coming for all of the other under the table kills they have done in the past. I love the flower power kill where they exploit then make it so no one else can use it after they get the kill with it. Like they are so damned special that they are above recourse, came back to bite em hard in the ass this time.

well, if you trolls and flamers actually looked around before you made a comment would be helpful,
I do think the Ban is over the top,
The Loot and the achievement shouldve been removed, a GM stood in shut the live server's down, hotfixed it and sent them back in,
but everyone else put yourselves in their shoes, because you are going to stop in the middle of a world First in progress and say sorry guys something is wrong, "No" you wouldnt do it, No one would, and you also have limited amounts of trys at it, Ensidia has been Robbed of what is theirs, I Fully support Ensidia in this case, only because i find it unfair and i could not imagine what it would be like in their shoes,
Thankgod it was found on a normal mode or heroic
Blizzards Beta Testers and Such should pull their head out their arses and actually check things before they go live

Agreed. Before Blizzard actually Bans them, I rather they sack all of their Game testers which FAILED in discovering that Bug when they created the platform as seige destoryable structures. Did they? No i dont think so. They would rather Hang Ensidia up on the Cross to show the world what will happen if you discover a bug in WoW that the Designers failed to as it really SHAMES them all. As a progammer myself, yes i know that no programs in the world is bug-free (except for calculator). Taking away the Loot / Achievements is more than enough and yet they Ban them??? So next time when Blizzard employee's kids punch someone else, they gonna sue the victim for having a thick skull resulting their kids injuring their fist?
