Cat is my main, doing 6.8-7k dps right now. I have no idea if it should be higher or not. This is not a brag post, i really feel like it is low for my gear. 90% sure it is due to operator error but maybe you guys can have some advice i havent thought of. Slightly under hit, 1 off arm pen soft cap. 60 crit self buffed. No mangle bot.

looks pretty good, the only thing i can say you did wrong is to get the cape before 4 piece t10.. I would say that your dps is pretty good for your gear level, the only advice i can give is to remember that kitty dps isn't about spamming, its about patience

Barnagma: Great for ToC patch. For ICC you want a lot more haste now that GotEM got its nerf. I am a boomkin so i dont know the exact number for haste but its up around 800 just to hit the 1s GCD.

Other than that, your SP is great, and spec looked fine. Just more haste (swap around gear to get it, or replace some of those SP gems.

Armor pen, expertise, strength, and agil in your red sockets. The point of sockets is to max out your best stat. Strength is not it. I also don't believe that you should spend any points on expertise especially when you're already that close to 26.

You're at a point where you should be gemming straight ArPen in my opinion. Those 10 seconds per 45 are not reliable enough. If you were to do that you could start packing all your gear full of it and you wouldn't have to worry about gemming haste or str or trying to avoid crit caps.

If it works for you, that's cool. Nice gear. I just think gems give you an opportunity to max out your best stat (which for us is arpen) and I don't think you're taking advantage of it.

Overall, you look like you're doing pretty good. There are a couple of things you can do to improve though.

You are getting low on hit, and as a horde you have more to strive for (263 rating), start by enchanting your boots with Icewalker.
Replace the hybrid gem in your legs with a hit/agi gem.
Replace glove enchant with precision(20 hit rating).
It wouldn't hurt to replace the yellow slots in at least 1 of your rings with another 10 agi/10 hit gem.

Doing those would get you capped. I understand that hit rating isn't typically as valueable as it is for other melee due to our talents, but another thing to keep in mind is you are over 1k passive armor pen and the more passive armor pen you have, the more valueable (More dps value point for point) stats like Hit and expertise get. (missing an attack that crits for 16k is no fun)

Other than that, very solid.

I'm sitting on a +40 stam bracer enchant, ignore that, overlooked it as I often re-enchant/re-gem. My loot is mainly restricted to 10 man content. If you see on my armory, I farmed emblems today for the purpose of toying with the 75 EoT helm, planning on putting +20 arpen in it, and then re-gemming all those agi + hit gems for pure ArPen. The helm will also help me balance my wasted points in expertise.

For being generally 10 man oriented, I'd say you're doing pretty fantastic!

Just throwing in my 0.02 for ya, it sounds like you're on the right track. You do have quite a bit of expertise, swapping the helm is a good start. I'd say after you get your 4 piece(I'm assuming the chest being your 4th piece) that you aim for the badge cloak. That will give you a great boost in ArP and crit while balancing your hit and expertise.

I'd say you have a solid "Know-how" for your druid. Keep it up!

As for my trinkets, I'm aiming for Whispering fanged skull or the haste trinket off 25 man Algalon mainly...but the war token is by no means a bad choice. I'm kind of at a crossroad right now with how I can gem, eat, and enchant. I'm considering to dump my hit gems for Agi, expertise and agility until capped and just using Hit food(Currently using ArP food to reach cap). I'm going to experiment with a couple ways of gemming this weekend and do some tests on dummies/old content to see how it goes before I lay out my wish list.

You seem to be over hit and exp caps, while they're not so valuable for kitties, but you sort of mentioned that.

Seems decent! Your quite a bit above haste cap, in fact get up a little more and you can even drop celestial focus for more in the resto tree - few regems would make that easy.

Heh cheers, yeah i'm aware of the haste thing. Planning on hitting 856 haste then speccing out of celestial focus, only recently (last few days) gone over the cap so I haven't bothered making the minor changes to my spec

Acually no, i prefer the run speed - especially for things like deathwhisper heroic P2 etc, runspeed is always better.
I wont use the spirit one as i never have mana issues and the stamina is probally more useful for survivability aswell, lots of damage being thrown around in heroic!
Alot of PvErs use that boot enchant unless they get a runspeed from talents i believe.

Tuskar's Vitality is not a PvP enchant. It is by far the best enchant for it's slot, PvP or PvE. (unless you get non-stacking speed increase from something else)

Now, for your gear
Not much to say really. I would change the cloak for one without mp5 ofc, and there are lots of options. Buy one for 50 emblems of frost, try getting the one from Saurfang 25, ToC25 etc.

The next thing would be Tuskar's vitality on boots. I'm a GM, and I would never have people run around with anything else than Tuskar's (unless they have speed increase from talents w/e). Not even if they need the 12 hit-rating.

Nice gear though. Bet you rock the dps charts!

I'd never only gem red 23 sp gems tho, my OCD keeps my from geming different colours then the one the socket represents xD Stupid I know I don't see the "only Tuskarr Vitality enchant" on boots tho, my 18 spirit works fine for me :P But maby I need to reconcider it?

Yeah, I know I'm under expertise cap (feel free to bash me) and I'm working on it (tier pants, swapping wpn for Blood Princes mace and most probably going after hands change - who needs 5/5 tier set, right?). Hit is not a concern since I'm allilance - free 1% hit buff all the time. Still waiting to see DBW to drop and I honestly envy all of you who already have it.
