    Warrior PvP Builds

While messing around with this not-yet-finished talent calculator, I have come up with the following PvP builds.

While the possibility of true "hybrid" builds now exists, I am (currently) mapping out 51-talent-oriented specs. There is room for some serious creativity and customization in everyone of these specs; these are just my initial intake on them.

Please feel free to share constructive criticisms.

Also, ignore glyph choices as they are not yet implemented.

    Arms PvP: Conc. Blow/Gag Order

Titan's Grip PvP: (Enrage and Wrecking Crew are interchangeable)

Single-Minded Fury: Taste for Blood build

    Single-Minded Fury: Conc. blow/Gag Order

    Protection:

    Protection: DW/FitB

Again, the possibilities are immense. I am excited about lining up Recklessness, Fury in the Blood, and Death Wish and Bladestorm for some huge burst potential. I am disappointed in the talent Blitz, and I believe it is finally time when Sudden Death is exposed for the mediocre talent that it is.

Not sure why you're not taking Blitz, Sudden Death or Imp Hammy in the first spec.

Leaving this one open for the sole reason that it addresses PVP (a specific topic) and does not belong to any singular talent tree. Keep it, and similar threads, to their specific topics. Thanks!

Sudden Death is an overrated talent IMO, and there are a lot of 2200+ warrior who currently don't use it, rather they put the points into IMP Hamstring.

These are just options #1, not law.

And with the changes to Cruelty and the new talent Impending Victory, I can afford to get a .5 second cast off if it has increased chance to crit as well as proccing Victory Rush.

I find Blitz underwhelming. Unless of course the range on the proximity of the enemy is greater than my initial thinking is.

I, personally, don't use hamstring as much as Piercing Howl b/c of the dazing affect PH has, and that's direct correlation to increased damage from heroic strike.

By the way you say "there are a lot of 2200+ warrior who currently don't use it" makes me think you're terrible already. If you're not 2200 by now you're not even trying or you're clinically handicapped.

That aside, Sudden Death is one of the best talents in arms, along with TfB MS UA juggernaut etc. There is no such thing as a good warrior who doesn't take Sudden Death, find one at an actual decent rating on a decent BG and I'll reconsider. Extra damage is extra damage, and those points in improved slam are flat out wasted, might as well just not use the extra if you're putting them in slam. You are basically never able to stand still for even .5 sec in any arena match, you will get out ranged every time.

Improved hamstring is really situational and depends on the team, but for most warrior comps right now, it's amazing. Using piercing howl instead simply doesn't cut it and never will cut it. Having to renew it as often as you do wastes a LOT more damage than a bit of extra HS damage.

Also, regardless of the range on Blitz getting an extra stun is game breaking and there's no reason to pass up on it.

Pretty much all of this. Slam in PvP is so lol. Really bad, really really bad.

    Assuming slam will again NOT be used in PVP, this build seems to become one of the more standard PVP specs;

    http://cata.wowhead.com/talent#LhbGI...fRzhfMzGVz:sIw

There are a few close to worthless talents in there(cruelty/impending victory..lol) but they're better than the alternative.

Blitz isn't really worth it, and if you really feel like it, you can switch Sudden Death and Impr. Hamstring around. I personally used to be more of a PH user, and only incidentally used Hamstring so for me it certainly ain't worth it.
