Thread: Raiding as sub?

    Raiding as sub?

Is anyone out there actually raiding as a sub rogue? The honor among thieves build is really cool but is it any good for instances? Ive been told a couple of off the cuff comments about it like "its too RNG defendant and RNG is random" and "Terrible in 5s, ok in 10s and pulls aggro in 25s" but is there any real info about it out there?
As for prot... haha losers he dmg needs a nerf with the intercept shield bash wtf silence crit a clothie like a mofo.
    Wow.

It was good in naxx days, but it got hit with a fix that gave HaT too large of an ICD to be useful.

HaT is now terrible switch specs now.

Sub was only a decent PVE option while HaT spec was terribly bugged and allowed you to spam Eviscerate for pretty much the whole fight.

Nowadays, you shouldn't raid as sub. As a matter of fact, you'll most likely do terrible dps as sub. There are some half-decent hybrid combat-sub builds that surfaced out there to try and have the raid benefit from the Hemo debuff, but its been shown that the extra raid dps from Hemo debuff doesn't make up for the dps loss of that single rogue spec'ing for it.

Subtlety is now pretty much a fun, but highly gear-dependent PVP-BG spec.

    Re: Raiding as sub?

In fights where rogues should be doing 4-5k dps (naxx days), rogues were pulling 7-8k. In fact you often had 5 combo pionts and had to wait for global cooldown, and if it wasnt for global, rogues would have probably been hitting 10-15k on patchwerk style fights.

    Was a little broken.
