    Re: Roleplayers,

Personally, for my roleplay stories (I am a roleplayer), bosses aren't killed or respawn every week. I don't know how impatient other roleplayers are, but I span stories across entire patches, and even expansions.

To me, Arthas won't be dead until Cataclysm is released.

Twelve bosses in ICC? Well, for every few weeks, one boss dies. So the path through the raid is slowly being cleared as the progress overtime. Some may even say that "attempts" at a boss are simple battles, and they fall back when necessary, just like any war is multiple battles and not one large straight shot.

    Re: Roleplayers,

General consensus on our server is to regard the instance as cleared in lore when the next content patch releases, and no-one takes credit for the kill, it's just "25 nameless adventurers"

Stop exaggerating, Dalaran has too many people that the lag is unbearable. No way in hell does it have less people than Pornshire (and it's Pornshire mofos, not Cybershire. Silvermoon is Cybermoon).

    Re: Roleplayers,

I'd assume repeat runs wouldn't be in-character. First runs are pretty epic though when roleplayed.
    God; I hate you people.

    Re: Roleplayers,

    To the OP:

The group I am part of right now just does raiding out of character. We do however have fun at times writing on our guild forum about how our characters personal stories intersect with the lore of the game.

To the RP is Irrational comment:
RP is done for fun. It adds an extra layer to the game vs just sitting at a computer smashing mouse and keyboard buttons. It's part of enjoying the journey. If a soldier goes to war well that's what is happening. If a soldier goes to war to avenge the death of his wife and child at the hands of the undead, who were eating them when he discovered the attack - well that gives context and weight to the situation. RP simply adds to the experience of the game.

At the same time, I feel like it would be hella awkward. xD
That's exactly my view of roleplaying.

I'm on Cenarion Circle (RP) but I very rarely see any role play so it makes the possibility of m joining in even less likely, actually for that matter in past 4 years I've seen little RP, the most I saw was in vanilla.

Anyways to OP I've never seen people try to "raid" in character, just too many ppl doing: "lol stfu loser" to even attempt such a feat and I doubt that many RP guilds raid... would be kinda hard to keep in character and still down bosses.
