What do you enjoy the most 10 or 25man raids?

I've been in both a 10man guild and a 25man guild, both focused on raiding its appropriate content, and I can say without an ounce of doubt that I had infinitely more fun and contentment raiding 10mans than 25mans. Sure the loot is better in 25mans, but you lose a lot of the family atmosphere going from 10 to 25. And I certainly don't think the better loot offsets the loss of that coziness, trying to juggle 25 egos, dealing with attendance issues, stalls in progression and the general tedium and drama that comes hand in hand with 25man raiding.

Well ... i must admit that i love 10 mans, like some1 already said here we can feel better the encounter, 10 man raids make make the group closer, but who can survive without the 25 man loot now a days? ... i had a 10 man guild before and it was almost perfect, like thousands other guilds mine got ruined by the 25 man loot fever.

So yeah ... for fun and joy, 10mans ... for loot .. 25 >.>

I like 10-man version better. As many above has pointed out, it's more fun for me to actually make a difference by my actions. Less blending in into a crowd of people.

Also, 25-man annoy me. When 25 people gather up it's hard to say who failed, who is not preparred, who doesn't know tactics etc. It often makes people start accusing each other for sucking, what's hard to control. Tension grows up etc.

I think that 10 and 25 man raids have different challenges; and I prefer the challenges of a 10 man raid more. I think 25 man raids it becomes about coordination and keeping a group together, but I think that if one or two people mess up in a 25 man raid the rest of the raid can often make up for those errors/undergeared players. On the other hand I think 10 man raids are more about everyone having to know exactly what their job is and performing it at a fairly high level. There's no place to hide in a 10 man raid; if you fail everyone knows exactly who failed and how they failed. I feel like you have to stay focused for the entire fight every fight or the chances of a wipe are pretty high. Though on super easy raids like os/ or weeklys like Patch I do like a 25 man just I can see the extra huge dps numbers.

I absolutely prefer 10-man-content. 10-man-raids are easier to coordinate and have more of a personal feel to it.

depends on my mood, if im playing with my friends and i just want to kill some bosses and have some laughter with ninja pulls i rather go 10 man, but i also like to go 25 man raids wich allways give an epic feeling in higher end instances.....

anyway my vote goes to 10... more Fun less stress = mour happy!

Aye, 10-man for me as well. I've been playing WoW since day one (or the beta before) and always enjoyed the smaller. The 40-man were too much hassle and took forever to get your drops (think I went once 3-4 months without getting a single upgrade), and while the 25 are a big improvement I still prefer and actually am in a 10-man raiding guild made up mostly of online and RL friends.

It does kinda suck that the 25-man have better loot and access to other unique drops (patterns, mounts).

10men is fucking ridicolous since everyone except that 5% of strict guild will wtfrollovergear the encounters.
2 guild did ArthasHM with full 264gear, when you are supposed to do it with 251's and few 264 from the 10HC.

The quetion is simple. While raiding, what mode gives you more fun? 10-man mode or 25-man?

I understand 25-man gives better loot, and the reward is big factor of entertainment. So please assume both version provides some reward to you (i.e. you don't have all best items from 10-man version and 25-man mode is not giving you the only worthwhile upgrades).

Just as if ICC was just released.

Or as if you were doing old content for achievements.
