First off, I've read rules and this is not another what should I roll thread.
Second, I'm talking about PvP exclusively here.

However, since I quit wow at the end of TBC, and during my play time I've always played somewhat gimped specs (those being sub rogue, elemental shaman, shadow priest and so on), I'd like you to advise me on class (note that this is not based on personal preferance, rather on my ignorance about current state of classes/specs) I should roll. Doesn't have to be fotm class or anything, just that it is not much of an underdog. Also, I'd prefer healing class, but it's not mandatory. And I couldn't care less about PvE. Oh, and no warriors please, hate the class.

And I hope you understood what I asked, it's 6am here, lack of sleep and english not being your first language can do bad bad things to you.

If you really want a class that can heal and is good in pvp... I would look at either a paladin or a druid... priests are not as viable in 5s, shaman are but you said you already played one... Although truthfully I would roll another shaman and go resto, they are beasts in 3s and 5s...
