Can a Moonkin on the PTR please explain.

The patch notes and the note from Ghostcrawler speaks about splash damage and initial damage, and I am kinda lost? Has the spell changed? It sounds like an atomic bomb that does damage to a target then the blastwave affecting its neighbours?

It has always had direct damage followed by splash damage on mobs around the one getting hit by a star...

Each star Hits a couple of mobs for a high amount of damage, Then there are some AoE damage around that mob.

Each star hits ONE target, and that splashes to other targets.

The initial hit does not count as aoe damage.

E.g. where there are mobs that are partially immune to aoe damage e.g. blood beasts or faction champions, the initial star hit is not mitigated, but the splash damage is.
