Tier sets for Cataclysm

Just what shaman tier needs more earth fire themed sets...
I really like the idea of t10 being a spiritual feel of a shaman a part not represented too much in game really only shown with the occasional spirit wolf chase quest. I really wouldn't mind seeing more of that or other elements besides EARTH AND FIRE for once.

Shaman T1, 5, 8, and 9 are all variations of the same thing - Earth / Fire
Shaman T2 and 7 deal with lightning.

I was just going for something that reflected the events of the expansion. However I actually agree with Coous as far as getting some more diversity into the shaman sets. The only problem is that if you go too far down frost and that's kinda mage territory; too far down base nature and its druid territory. So it has to be natural element based without wriggling away. But I think I have an idea brewing with an islander (troll / goblin) feel...

That is seriously one but-ugly set....I as a paladin hope they keep up the paladin T8/T10 trend....Those were some awesome looking sets!
Hope the Uldum raid will feature a T8 like Tier sets for all classes...T8 was the overal best tier ever......almost every class had a good T8

We didn't get it for Tier 10 like we asked, so I think it's only fair that we get it for tier 11.

I think the Shaman Tier 5 would be really cataclysm like. That`s what that reminds me of.

Probably because T5 shaman WAS called Cataclysm Regalia/Raiment/etc... =P

T7 has nothing to do with lightning. That was T6. T9 doesn't really have a theme as it shares item models with hunter T9.


T1 - Earthfury - earth/fire <--
T2 - The Ten Storms - lightning
T3 - The Earthshatterer - fire <--
T4 - Cyclone - wind/water
T5 - Cataclysm - earth/fire <--
T6 - Skyshatter - lightning
T7 - Earthshatterer - fire (same as T3) <--
T8 - Worldbreaker - earth/fire <--
T9 - Nobundo/Thrall - N/A
T10 - Frost Witch - frost/spirit

Clearly the fire/earth theme is being used a lot.

And to those saying shaman pvp gear uses the other themes.....

As to the warlock question:
For the upcoming tier sets in Cataclysm, I'd rly love to see more T5/T6+T9 combos, something interfering with the upcoming changes to warlock class. Would be lovely so see another demon-like helmet + skulls popping out of shoulders (similar to shamy T10 with the showeltusk). Also having a skeletal wings attached to the shoulder asrmor part would be kool aswel (inspired from the T5).
The desired set as I would love to see it:
- Skeletal demon-like helmet, with 2 pairs of horns, 1 up-frontal, 1 backward oriented. Dark glowy eyes effect.
- Simple rainment with bony theme + dark blur effect under the feet(would be nice to go back to 8/8 tier parts instead of 5/5 + offsets - offers more variety of gear-choice to players + most ppl loved 8/8 type sets in vanilla + tbc).
- Shoulders - well what to say, best part of any tier. Would be kool to see a flaskback of T1 set horn-type shoulderpads, but more focused on bone/death theme. And for the special effect - as I mentioned above, proc of bony-valkyr-like wings (similar to T6). Why? why not! Plus T6 wings were the best ever!
- Handguards - bony thorns faced backwards, overlapping bracer part, if you get what i mean.
And the name of the set?
Necropolis rainments / Rainments of Pandemia / Rainments of "WTF?UgotPwndBro". /laugh

Anyway yeh, that's what would keep me playing my lock 24/7. Feel free to comment/flame:-).
