Best on 1vs1?

Mages are THE best 1v1 class, nothing is even remotely close them when it comes to winning duels. The only class that has a slight chance vs mage is a skilled DK which you don't find too many of.

only class it really can't is probably frost or arcane mage because of mage armor, and the mage has to be really really good

I'd say mages or rogues, btw whoever says "feral>all" you havent heard about 3.3 most likely...as a rogue i destroy all ferals (whether they go for pvp gear or pve tanking or whatever they are) effortlessly cause of envenom spam.

If you've played a rogue and dueled an actual GOOD UA Lock (which I doubt any of you have) you'd know that the lock comes out on top. always.

Actually good UA locks are extremely difficult to kill. Between Shitloads of selfheal, voidwalker, haelthstone, battlemaster, 1300 res and 29k hp they can (and often will) outlast you. It's winnable, but not an easy duel.

- Ret paladin (bubble anyone ?) but he's gonna hurt vs high resil healers
- Rogue, lots of tools
- UA lock

Because rets have a lot of obvious weaknesses for the good caster. A lock or a mage shouldn't lose to a ret.

1v1 in duels and randoms I see in BGs as mut/prep rogue I can take out most any class including locks and frost mages no problem. It's pallies I have trouble with the most. A goood geared Mage in arenas will give me a lot of trouble tho.
